Terms and Conditions for FIRST Live Workshops

Effective: 5/1/2023

Date of Workshop: The Workshop will be delivered at the date and time previously agreed to in writing by the parties. The parties agree that in the event either party needs to postpone the Workshop, the postponing party shall promptly provide the other notification of postponement. The AAMC and Institution shall work together to identify another mutually agreeable date to hold the Workshop. For in-person Workshops: in the event Institution postpones and the AAMC has already incurred travel expenses for the original Workshop date, Institution agrees to pay for all un-reimbursable travel expenses incurred.

Intellectual Property: The AAMC retains all rights, title and interest in and to any and all AAMC materials provided to Institution and Workshop participants under this Agreement (“Materials”). AAMC representatives attending the Workshop shall identify portions of the Materials available for Institution use; no other portions of the Materials may be used by the Institution without prior written permission. In the event Institution records the Workshop, the recording may only be posted on the Institution’s internal (intranet) website to be removed and deleted on June 30th or December 31st, whichever comes first, unless otherwise approved in writing.

Confidentiality: The AAMC will not collect or retain any personal information of Institution’s students.

Warranty and Disclaimer: The AAMC PROVIDES THE WORKSHOP “AS-IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND AS TO COMPLETENESS OR ACCURACY, AND INSTITUTION RELEASES AAMC FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY FOR INACCURATE OR INCOMPLETE INFORMATION. Further, the AAMC Workshop is intended to provide general information and are not intended to fulfill or replace any federally mandated requirement. Purchase Orders: If you pay by purchase order, no term or condition presented in the purchase order is binding on the AAMC if in conflict with, inconsistent with, or in addition to the terms of sale herein.
