How to use your MSAR® subscription

Thank you for purchasing a Medical School Admissions Requirements™ (MSAR®) Online subscription.

Here's how to access MSAR®:

  1. Access the MSAR® login portal.
  2. Sign in using your AAMC username and password.

Frequently Asked Questions:

  1. Why can't I sign in to MSAR®?
    The most common cause of this issue is old browser history. After you've purchased your subscription, clear your browser history, then close and reopen your browser to begin a new session.
  2. Where is my authorization code?
    Authorization codes are not necessary for subscriptions purchased directly.
  3. How can I find my username and/or password?
    If you are unable to access your AAMC account, please contact Account Help.
  4. What browser(s) should I use?
    We recommend the latest version of Chrome, Firefox or Safari for desktop, laptop, tablet or smartphone.
  5. When does my subscription expire?
    You will be able to access your Medical School Admissions Requirements (MSAR®) Online for 12 months from the date of purchase. Your subscription expiration date also appears at the bottom of each medical school profile page with MSAR.
  6. What happens if the MSAR® is updated after I made my purchase? 
    The AAMC partners with medical school admissions offices to update school profiles throughout the year to reflect any policy changes. Comprehensive updates are made annually; any additional updates will automatically be reflected once you log in.
  7. What happens when my subscription expires?
    You will be notified by email shortly before your subscription expires and be given the option to renew your subscription at a discounted rate.
  8. What happens to any information such as notes and favorites that I may have entered and saved in my subscription?
    When your subscription expires, you will no longer be able to view your saved information. However, you will have access to your saved information again, whenever you decide to renew your subscription.
  9. Can I share my subscription with friends?
    No. Your subscription is intended for individual use only. Please do not share your account information with your friends.
  10. How can I contact customer service?

Please note your subscription will begin immediately after purchasing this product and is valid for one year for individual use only. This product is non-transferable and non-refundable.
