Learning through practice is critical to preparing for the MCAT exam. Prepare for the exam with AAMC MCAT Official Prep products written by the test developers. The products sold in the AAMC Store are the most current and up-to-date and are all online.
- You may reset the products as often as you like; however, the questions will remain the same each time.
- All our MCAT Official Prep Practice Exams have the same look, feel, and functionality as an exam you would take on test day.
- All Practice Exams include explanations for all answer choices in all sections and links to Khan Academy lessons covering the same content and skills.
The AAMC typically releases new MCAT preparation products or enhancements in the fall between testing years. In years when the AAMC does not release new products, we focus on improving our existing products and resources. Our enhancement page provides information about the latest updates.

Now available: MCAT Official Prep Extensions
The current access period for all MCAT Official Prep products is one year from the date of purchase. We now offer the option to renew a 1-year subscription by 3 or 6 months. Purchasing an extension will renew your previous products (all the questions will remain the same).
Who is eligible for an extension?
- Individual products or bundles must still be active or expired less than 60 days ago. The 3-month or 6-month extension adds 90 or 180 days to the current expiration date for products that are still active. For products that are not currently active, the extension will reactivate the product and add access for 90 or 180 days from the date of purchase.
- The original one-year product subscription must have been purchased in the AAMC Store; obtained by redeeming an access code; or through the Fee Assistance Program. You must have a one-year subscription before you are able to access 3- and 6-month extensions.
How does it work?
- Examinees can extend an individual product that they previously purchased in a bundle (ex: if you purchased the Question Pack Bundle, you could buy an extension of the CARS Question Pack).
- Examinees will not be able to purchase a bundle extension if they did not purchase or have access to a bundle (ex: previously purchased individual products cannot extend a bundle).
- Log in to the store, and click on Renew Your Subscription in the left-hand navigation under All MCAT Prep. If you are eligible for an extension, you will see the product(s) listed there. Please note, you must be logged into your AAMC account to see eligible options.
Bundles
Our bundles offer a significant discount compared to ordering each product separately. Please note that if you purchase individual products, you cannot upgrade to a bundle later.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What is the difference between the recently released bundles and the bundles from previous years?
While new products may be added to the bundles over time, previously included products remain the same year after year. You can identify when the AAMC introduces new products because of the new title, detailed description, or edition.
What happens when my products expire?
A one-year subscription is valid for 365 days from the purchase date. You can buy an extension anytime your product is active or within 60 days after expiration, to extend your product by 90 or 180 days. If you purchase a product again, all previously completed activity, including score reports, will still be available. We can’t place active products on hold.
