Terms and Conditions for MERC Workshops

Effective: 1/2/2024

Date of Workshop: The Workshop will be delivered at the date and time previously agreed to in writing by the parties. The parties agree that in the event either party needs to postpone the Workshop, the postponing party shall promptly provide the other notification of postponement. The AAMC and Institution shall work together to identify another mutually agreeable date to hold the Workshop. For in-person Workshops: in the event Institution postpones and the AAMC has already incurred travel expenses for the original Workshop date, Institution agrees to pay for all un-reimbursable travel expenses incurred.

MERC Certificate: A MERC certificate is issued to participants who have registered with AAMC, paid the registration fee, and successfully completed six (6) Workshops. AAMC is the only authorized issuer of a MERC certificate.

Intellectual Property: The materials provided to Institution as part of the Workshop (“Materials”) are either owned by or licensed by the AAMC. Institution may not reproduce or distribute the Materials to anyone other than the Institution’s Workshop attendees.

Warranty and Disclaimer: The AAMC PROVIDES THE WORKSHOP “AS-IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND AS TO COMPLETENESS OR ACCURACY, AND INSTITUTION RELEASES AAMC FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY FOR INACCURATE OR INCOMPLETE INFORMATION.

Purchase Orders: If you pay by purchase order, no term or condition presented in the purchase order is binding on the AAMC if in conflict with, inconsistent with, or in addition to the terms of sale herein.
